“Excursions between Nature and Culture in Messina”: the #experiencemessina arrives!
Yesterday, at the Messina Chamber of Commerce, the first meeting on activities and services aimed at residential tourism in the City of the Strait and in the province was held: “Excursions between Nature and Culture in Messina”.
The meeting, an initiative of Mediterranea Trekking and Discover Messina, was organized with the intention of promoting a shared tourist offer to hotel operators in the city of Messina. A first step towards networking in the City of the Strait, a network that unites entrepreneurs in the tourism sector and increasingly encourages them to work together to maximize profits and take full advantage of the enormous opportunities offered by the city. Messina, in fact, thanks to its territory, history, culture, art, is able to provide the tourist (whether the cruise ship, as well as the Messina citizen himself) an extremely wide range of “experiences”. From the excursion by boat, mountain bike, to trekking, then passing through the visits to the more or less known monuments, up to the so-called “naturalistic-sporting holidays”, Messina and the province certainly do not lack places and attractions.
A new tourist proposal made of Nature, Culture and Sport
The companies organizing this event have joined forces in creating a tool to be shared with the other business activities of the Messina tourism sector (first and foremost, hotel operators), which hopefully is just the kick-off of a new and fruitful way to do business based on collaboration to offer a new tourism proposal.
The Map #experiencemessina
It is a map, which offers tourists an overview of the various and numerous attractions of the city and how to move to enjoy them to the full. This fundamental tool for incoming will be distributed to all accommodation facilities. From Messina to the Aeolian Islands, from Taormina to Savoca, from the Peloritani to the Etna, this map will not only provide many useful information for tourists, but will also offer various tourist “experiences” for those who love culture and art, or for those who prefer a type of holiday made of sport immersed in nature … and why not, for those who want both options!
